Personalized College Consulting & Academic Support
Rooted in confidence, clarity, and care.
Services
Thoughtful, individualized guidance for high school students navigating the college process. College consulting includes self-exploration exercises to clarify values, interests, and goals; college list development based on academic fit and personal preferences; and step-by-step support with applications, activities, and timelines. I work closely with students on college essays and personal statements, helping them develop authentic narratives that reflect who they are; while building confidence, clarity, and ownership throughout the process.
Whole-child support that recognizes the connection between learning, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. This service integrates mindset work, organization strategies, and emotional awareness into academic support, creating a space where students feel heard, encouraged, and capable. While not therapy, this approach is informed by my training as a therapist-in-training and emphasizes growth, resilience, and self-understanding.
Personalized academic support designed to build strong foundational skills and confidence. Sessions focus on reading, writing, organization, and study strategies while supporting each student’s emotional needs and learning style. My approach is warm, structured, and individualized—helping students feel capable, supported, and engaged in their learning.
About Claudia
Hi! My name is Claudia Kra. I am an educator and college consultant currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I studied Elementary Education and spent six years in the classroom, where I developed a deep understanding of how students learn, grow, and respond to support, both academically and emotionally.
Over time, my work expanded beyond the classroom into individualized tutoring and college consulting. For the past three years, I have run a private online tutoring and consulting practice, working closely with students and families to provide personalized, relationship-based support. Prior to that, I spent over two years working with a college consulting business, guiding high school students through college exploration, applications, and essay development.
Through these experiences, I have supported students across every stage of the college process, from early self-reflection and values exploration to building balanced college lists, managing timelines, and crafting authentic personal statements and supplemental essays. My approach emphasizes clarity, confidence, and alignment, helping students understand not just where they want to apply, but why.
As a therapist-in-training, I bring a whole-person lens to my work. I aim to create a structured yet supportive space where students feel heard, capable, and empowered to tell their stories. Whether I am working with a student on an essay or guiding a family through decision-making, my goal is to make the process feel intentional, grounded, and manageable.
